stuffed pears

2 firm ripe pears
1/4 wheel of Blue style Sheese
1/4 cup chopped pecans
4 cinnamon sticks
2 tbs. pure maple syrup

Preheat oven to 350F.

Halve pears with a pearing knife and core leaving as much fruit flesh as possible.

With a teaspoon gently carve out centres (about 1.5 tbs. each) and put in a small
mixing bowl.

Add Sheese to pear in the bowl and with your fingers blend the two ingredients
together leaving some small lumps.

Stir in pecans and fill pear centres with mixture. ‘Stem’ each pear with a cinnamon
stick and bake on a cookie sheet or in a muffin tin (more stable) for 30min.

Serves 4, each drizzled with maple syrup.
